Jillian Schedneck is a literary writer working across memoir and speculative fiction. Her work explores how people are transformed by the worlds they inhabit—whether real, remembered or imagined.
She is the author of the memoir Abu Dhabi Days, Dubai Nights (Pan Macmillan), the writing craft book Write Your Travel Memoir: A Step-by-Step Guide. Her essays and stories have appeared in Tahoma Literary Review, Brevity, Redivider, Antipodean SF, and other American and Australian literary journals.
Jillian works as a Learning Adviser at the Australian National University in Canberra, where she lives with her partner and two daughters.
